Lady Blue Devils Nab a Great Transfer!

Idk how he meant it but could it have been that the championship final four won’t be in Durham, so couldn’t we win the title say in New Orleans and bring it back to Durham.

This board is getting a lot like the other one. I left it over 10 years ago and never been back because of Duke fans nitpicking with Duke fans.

Hind sight being what it is. Maybe if you chose your words a little more carefully, morons like me would not have to ask correct questions. Sounded like you were trying to raise the women's program to heights it has yet to achieve. However, I am truly impressed with what Kara has done so far. Wise hire. OFC

I meant, finally winning a championship and bringing the trophy back to Durham. I wish I had written it differently. Sorry for the confusion.

I agree too and I plan on following them more next season. I see the old Duke Coach Gail (can’t spell her last name) joined the Kentucky coaching staff as an assistant. Not sure why she isn’t a HC somewhere else. She was very successful at Duke.

Gail Goestenkors or Coach G really changed the way people viewed the women's program. She built something for the future. I thought McCallie did a good job keeping that going for the most part until recently. Lawson is obviously great at recruiting young women to come and play for her. She was well respected by the guys on the Celtics when she was on the sidelines there. I think she's bringing the mentality that Pat Summit had at Tennessee to Duke and I couldn't be happier about that. She had a very successful colligate career and she's a WNBA champion so that will help too. That's something the others didn't have before her. It remains to be seen if she can put everything together, but the pieces are clearly there.
