I'm from N.C. and of course a lot of local radio talk shows discuss the Hornets from time to time. Not a Hornet fan myself but there are plenty of Hornet fans here with them being our home team. The discussion I was listening to was what to do with Kimball Walker one of the best players in Hornet history. The two host pointed out its gonna take a lot of money to resign him and if they do they still won't contend. Right now it's gonna be hard to trade him and get back for what he's worth, He should have been traded during the season. The conclusion was maybe they should go ahead and sign him for whatever it takes. He is a crowd favorite and brings in fans. While listening to the discussion I thought this might work. Look they will not contend anytime soon with or without Walker, I say let him go. That should open up so early money. In this year's draft work it out in trades to make sure they can pick colby white ,nassar little or both in the draft. Then make sure they get bit luke maye in the second round. Now I've seen some mock drafts and cam johnson is listed as a 1st rounder in some of them. If they can pull off getting all 4 of the departed heels this year and sign them the issue with filling the seats is solved. The state of NC is full of heel fans and would love nothing better to see their Hornets roster filled with tar heel alumni. They already have a former heel on the roster, a heel owner and I'm sure there are other former heels in the front office. The next question is winning. Who cares ? You got heels running out your ying yang. The best thing for Jordan is he could raise ticket prices and if they
never win a game those seats will be filled. Now tell me thats not a great plan. They could change the color from teal blue to wussy blue and watch the team apparel sales soar. OFC

He was with ther Hornets for a while as we all know. I thought he was given the shaft. He immediately cracked the starting lineup . He would be a perrinial all star by now. Let's not forget ty zellar either. If you have tour have a zellar it should be ty. There are tons of heels available. The whole roster could be heels. Can you just hear the fans. hooorn nets....hooorn nets. OFC

Went to Hornets game over holidays with my brother(CLT resident), we paid $11 on Stubhub & place was 60% empty. My kids were laughing at the awful environment and 41 pt loss to Mavs.

Once Kemba talks with other teams he's gone, Hornets are run so poorly.

This is inpart by cho’s sorry contracts. Batum is the highest paid and has done nothing since receiving his contract also no one wants him.
Same with Lamb, MKG, Cody Zeller.

Charlotte is the only team that can offer Kimba a fifth year the problem is, The front office waited to long now they can’t trade him unless it’s a sign and trade and it don’t still help the fact Charlotte has no money really until 2021do to poorly given contracts.

Hopefully it begins to turn around as Mitch has all new scouts for college and foreign players but at the moment Charlotte has nothing any team wants and now they can get Kimba in free agency which it’s said the Mavs are very high on him.

Charlotte will probably never reach their potential as an organization as long as Jordan has any real control. These athletes think that because they were great at their sport that it will make them successful as major decision makers.
