Grayson being Grayson

I don't know who this ESPN staff writer is who wrote this, but it's a really good piece. It won't change the minds of the haters out there (and know a lot of them who relish the hate vs. Grayson) but it gets the truth out which is always good.

An excellent read, and quite amazing really coming from ESPN. Grayson Allen is a good kid that has made a few stupid mistakes. He's also one helluva basketball player that is so close to 2000 points for a career, and with still a possibility of closing out his college experience with another natty. Special.

I'm in shock that someone at ESPN wrote this. Great read, it's really too bad that the vast majority of people only know Grayson based on the narrative that the media pushes. Couldn't be happier to see him ending his career on a high note, and hopefully it's the HIGHEST note possible.

Great read. I was actually just coming here to share it with the board. It's a must read for all Duke fans.

The way Allen was treated by media was disgusting, I'm amazed at how well the kid handled it.
Grayson has definitely brought some of this on himself but he has taken more cheap shots any any player in my fifty plus years of watching college basketball

I get why some opposing fans hate Grayson, but if you watch his interviews, he really comes off as such a gracious, humble guy. I will always be glad he played for Duke. And it would be so awesome for him to walk off the floor for the last time as a Dukie as a national champion.

I like Grayson, but the hard question is, would we like him if he didn't play for us?
