I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but I rewatched the Championship game yesterday and I really love the way Hill called the game. I have been enjoying his commentary more and more during the season. I already loved Raftery, so it was a great team doing the game in my opinion. I hope we get more from him in the future.

I definitely think it is a good group. I'd say Hill still isn't real natural yet, seems he is really thinking about each thing he says rather than just reacting naturally. I think that will just come with time though. Battier early this year was the same way but with more hours logged really started finding his voice. He did react without thinking once early in the tournament calling Winslow the best defensive player to put on the Duke uniform after one of his big blocks...which...was absurd and later he admitted that and retracted it after some old Dukies tweeted at him it was an absurd thing to say.

I think the Nantz/Raff/Hill team is only going to get better. It was real nice that they were our crew throughout the tournament. By the time the title game came around they really knew the team, knew how they played and how they were playing in the tournament. Nothing drives me more nuts than commentary crews that question players or team moves that as a fan of that team you know shouldn't be questioned.

Example of that type of commentary: "Wow Grayson Allen with the nice dunk, he is usually thought of as a shooter, not an athlete!"....that sort of thing.

Hill also stills looks younger than a lot of the guys that were playing in the tournament

Lol...yeah GHill is a winner in all aspects of life. Watching the F4 with the fam and the ladies were all swooning over him.

Grant was solid but it was hard to hear the announcers, CBS pumps in crowd noise but this is first time I can recall where hearing Nantz was difficult.
