And to your comment about Archer, yeah I thought him giving me grief over my age was just a cop out. He talks about tradition and all that. I can understand it. But at some point, it goes beyond rationality when they talk about the "system" and Carolina basketball. To me, winning is Carolina basketball, not the style of play. Dean and Roy were both similar in their respective approaches but why should we disregard another style that works? Just my opinion.
I am among those who believe Roy should change his recruiting tactics. I am also one of the few that believe that we should take full responsibility for the academic scandal. In that regard, we have no one to blame but ourselves. But if we want to remain relevant in the OAD, something has to change. Right now, Carolina is in a good spot in the ACC and the tourney. But I highly doubt 3 star recruits are an adequate substitute for McDonald's All-Americans.
Also timo, if you want to mix it up with us every now and then go on the OOTB board. Unlike raider, we don't get our panties in a bunch simply because you root for duke.

What I really chuckle about is when they talk about K leaving. First, they must think Roy is about 40 years old...instead of just 3 or 4 years behind him. I'm not sure who is leaving first, but there isn't going to be a tremendous amount of years between their retirements. And sure, Duke will suffer a hit when arguably the GOAT leaves, but Roy is a HOF coach himself, and I don't see that many of them out there to replace him. Heel fans must think they're immune to being a waning program, but UCLA went through it, UK has been there, Indiana too, and Duke also. No one is immune. The wrong coach can set any program back.

No doubt duke will get it on track. Way too much talent. If I remember correctly the 2015 was struggling in January, maybe not to quite this extent but we all saw how that turned out. I am hoping my heels can sweep this year but I truly think you all will get it turned around. While I can somewhat understand those on THR wanting to bury duke early, I think its misguided. Looking forward to two or more epic games with duke.
I remember when I said on THR that UNC would be top 3 in 3pters this year in the ACC and got laughed at one there and I think quoted on here. I think we have to be right up there and in striking distance.
