"If you watch the GIF, the arsehole either faked getting hit in the nose, or more apparently, hit his own stupid self in the nose when he FLAILED his left arm wildly trying to FAKE a Foul and get an unearned call. I hope he effin' broke his own nose. I despise that slimeball,

As for the Louisville player, he showed great restraint in not grabbing the back of McWhipperson's head and driving it into the floor."

Now I have major issues with this and pardon my language but this poster is a total, shameless POS! When u wish harm and hate essentially what is a young man in college playing basketball, then you are just one sorry pathetic individual. Yes I know Grayson did wrong and I am well aware that his actions were brought on by himself, but when you go this extreme of being this hateful, then I have a problem with it. What's sad is this prolly coming from a grown adult. So with that being said, I hope Karma comes back and bites this patehetic a**hole right in the backside. He's such a shameless jerk, but he can't help himself I guess. He's a UNCheat fan. My message also goes to any other hole fan or pathetic U.K. Fan that also think on the same lines as this poster does.

I know Sky but it just infuriates me that people are this hateful. I'm just on a MAJOR MAJOR venting phase right now. I do feel a little better after putting that up and expressing how I feel about it though.:D

Yeah, he is a total scumbag (along with several others over there). I guess he missed it when the Louisville player smacked Grayson in the forehead as he was getting up too. Loser.

This is the second year in a row that Grayson has been mugged at Louiville with no consequences. Each time that this happened it was worse than Grayson" s tripping incidents

You ok man? I didn't speak to anyone for at least an hour last night haha. It's all good though. Hopefully our Dukies will get it together.

I'm ok but it wasn't fun last night. Still kind of shocked! We were( my family) like it's ok maybe next year, but then we keep saying that every year, but the future does look bright, but it is still painful no doubt.

I said it before and I'll say it again. They are all the same. There's not one any different than the other. No matter what wussyblue34 says.

The obnoxious part ALWAYS comes out in em, from a loss- "refs killed us," to the scandal- "everybody does it!"

You guys keep me laughing and the idiots over THR are one of a kind. You mods are the best ever. With all the asinine comments from the Tarhole fans that get on here and you don't ban them, kudos to you. You go over to THR and comment, if Gary doesn't approve or they're pissed off, you're banned forever. Shows you the class we have over them. With that said...GO TO HELL CAROLINA!!!!

If one school in the land is doing well without OAD's its UNC but In order for UNC to discuss OAD players shouldn't they be required to have at least ONE in the last 7 or 8 years? I don't think they are qualified to discuss OAD's. Everyone knows Roy don't recruit no stinking OAD's.

The fact that their team is winning lately somehow justifies all the stupid stuff they are saying though. Once they are back to losing it will be more enjoyable again.

...and contrary to dookie propaganda, Coleman did not go to Texas because dook "slow-played" him ... he went to Texas because 1. Shaka has been on him since his VCU days, and 2. he didn't get a UNC offer.
Gary bringing insider knowledge from his mafia to THR. I think most of the people over there are getting wise to his shenanigans though as everyone else has pointed out that Duke prioritized Duval over Coleman.

It's a bit ignorant for any Duke fan to say we could have gotten Coleman if we wanted him, but what Gary said is equally as ignorant.

Right or wrong, Duke seemed to back off Coleman a bit the last month. Hopefully that means they're confident with where things stand regarding Duval.

It's typical Gary though. You can make whatever statement you want after the fact knowing you can't get called on it because no one knows either way. The not getting a unc offer as a factor was pretty hilariously awesome as an addition- I mean sure Gar, if that helps you sleep at night.

But here's the thing, yes Duke backed off once they started getting serious with Duval, however prior to that they also pushed Coleman for a commitment after his official and CTC- that didnt happen. Coleman wanted to think it over and subsequently during that time duval opened up how own recruitment, asked to be recruited by Duke, and once his academic situation seemed to be cleared up they went all in and vice versa. So you can spin it however it makes you happiest.

I wasn't saying we passed on Coleman or anything, just that we obviously prioritized Duval and once that happened the ship sailed. It was an uphill battle getting in so late with Coleman regardless but Duval seemed to kill any chance with Matt. Would have been nice to get both!

Pretty much- which is why Gray making that statement is just funny, bc there was just much more that went into it than "he picked UT over Duke and suck it Capel." Which he said in there as well. But you see what you want to see. The unc part of his post is just comical.

And don't forget item number 2, Coleman chose Texas because he didn't get an offer from the Cheats.

In reference to Duval and interest in Duke:
Maybe he figured that private school could get away with finagling his academics...

Those who think Gary is a double secret Duke fan in disguise may just be correct. The irony of this statement!

Archer:
"I think you're spot on, and for the reasons you stated. Now if they could entice Brad Stevens to give up his gig in Boston, that would certainly help their cause. Regardless of who they hire, he won't have the USA coaching stranglehold in his back pocket.

Personally, I think d00k and UNC both will experience a decline ofter Krazywhiskey and Roy leave. It's almost inevitable. KU was very fortunate to have Roy step in after Larry, and fortunate again when Self replaced Roy. It is rare for a legendary coach to be replaced with another great coach in college basketball. Look at IU after Knight, UCLA after Wooden, UNLV after Tark the Shark, Saint Johns after Carnesecca, Villanova after Massimino, Georgetown after Thompson...

The question is not whether there will be a decline, it's how much and for how long, IMO. We have better facilities and more tradition than d00k so I have hope that our decline won't be as precipitous or as long lasting. But our fans, even his harshest critics, are going to miss Roy when he leaves. Of that I'm sure."

UNC has better facilities is comical. Duke has the most state of the art facilities in the game for its bball program. Maybe UNC is comparable since they're in the midst of building a few new things that Duke already has but that's not the hilarious part of the post- it's that KU was lucky to have Roy follow Larry Brown- why for all of the titles he didn't win? Roy was there from what- 91-2003 and won a total of zero titles? If the debate they're having is that Duke is going to have a drop off after K, than how in the world can you say KU didn't have one for twelve years under Roy? And to be fair, I don't think they had one at all, but they're talking out of both sides of their mouths. Duke has to win multiple titles following K or it's a drop off, but Roy was successful after Larry Brown despite not winning a single one- got it.

Anyone looking at the conversation going on over there about not needing OADS.The argument is that they went to the NC game last tear and are in contention this year. They are correct in those statements while ignoring the fact that they currently have either four or five Micky D players that will be gone next year. They are replacing them with 3 star recruits. There is an old coaching saying that it ain"t about the x "s and o"s, it is about the Willies and Joe"s. You certainly can develop these type of players but it normally not until they at least Juniors before that happens

The crazy thing some of those morons don't ever care to admit is that Roy recruits every one of those OAD kids. They spin it as Roy won't make them the focal point of what they're doing. And that and that alone is why they don't go there. Self fulfilling prophecy.

At least in football they stay for 3 years and there is actually a chance to get a long way towards a degree. These freshman mentioned in these mock drafts very likely will not step foot into a classroom 2nd semester and certainly won't as soon as the season is over. They will all be in Florida working with trainers getting ready for their pro career...which I get and don't blame them! But why is the NCAA looking the other way...maybe you are correct in that as long as they keep getting big dollars why does it matter? My take though is that the college game will be better if they make kids stay 3 years and turn it back to being about the student athlete. One reason that I love UNC is that you see kids like Kennedy Meeks develop over the years and turn from the pillsbury dough boy into a very good college basketball player...that young man will forever be in Roy's debt because of that development. That bond between them will very likely never be broken and whether Meeks makes the NBA or not, he will be a success and Roy Williams will be a big part of that.....that to me is what college sports is and should be about!! I don't get worried when the OAD don't come to UNC...I like 3-4 year guys that become part of the UNC family.

11 GACMAN, Today at 11:12 AM

Again, Roy develops them like no other. LOL!!!!

It's especially frustrating to those of us who want to see more of an OAD friendly approach. I can't argue with Roys results and he's an excellent coach. But our lack of getting the top guys is going to start hurting us and many fail to realize that.

And Archer claiming you're just looking for instant gratification because of your age is one priceless hot take. He refuses to answer the people on their that ask him why Roy at 65 or so years old recruits OADs then. His stock reply is either to ignore it or say that Roy won't build his team around a OAD- and that is supposed to be good why? Are you supposed to just ignore them or say son I know you are talented enough to be the best player here but you're going to wait your turn.
