I don’t know a whole lot about Brown except they play in a prestigious conference (Ivy League), and they sport a record of 5-5 - my knowledge ends there lol.

Since this is really a tuneup game to prepare for conference, and we haven’t played in a long time, I’m sure we will have to kick off a little rust to begin the game but otherwise think we roll in this one.

Duke opens at a -28 point favorite - which I think we’ll cover. Today’s game is set to tip at 11:30am est. and will air on ESPN2

Duke 91

Brown 59

GO DUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope to see a great all around game from everyone like the last game.

Go Duke!

Early game time after another week layoff, I expect a slow start and Duke not to cover the 28.

Duke 76 Brown 60

Duke 90
Brown 60

I set my DVR to record the game because I went out last night and I knew with such an early start time that I probably won’t be awake when the game starts.

FINALLY, it's time to start playing regularly. We probably start slow from the long layoff, but roar to a 20-25 point victory!!! GO DUKE!!!!

If Tre doesn’t play Tuesday, I’ll start to mildly be concerned.. after how the team played against Wofford, why not just rest him a little more with ACC play right around the corner.

If you’ve ever had a foot sprain, you know how much of a nuisance they can be. Every extra day helps. As stated above, if he’s out Tuesday then it’s worse than they’re leading on now....

Duke 74
Brown 68

There’s no need for Tre to play this is a good game to continue to build Baker and Moore’s confidence. Get Stanley and Hurt backon track and for Alex to find his shot and Goldwire to show he can give Tre breaks during conference play.

Oh, Duke wins

Man I hope it's not this close. I also hope Mr. Buckets and Goldwire keep doing their thing. Not sure what to think about Tre, I don't think I'm worried yet, just slightly confused. Duke by more than 6.........hopefully.

Most importantly, Tre is back Tuesday.

If I was a betting man, I would bet Duke doesn’t win by 28+.. first game in a while, early morning game, no Tre - it’s probably going to be ugly for the first half..

Duke: 78
Brown: 59

I would like to see Moore and/or Hurt have a huge game to help with their confidence going into ACC play.. one or both of them have to be a consistent threat for us because there are going to be games where Vern gets locked down and/or Joey isn’t “on fire”.

I think mildly concerning with regards to Tre is certainly fair. Hopefully it’s just extra caution.

We should still win by 20 to 25 today.

28 is a lot to cover especially with Tre out. We do win comfortably and Joey Buckets has 20.

Duke 78
Brown 55

I think Duke wins big even without Tre! A little concerned about Tre though. Hope he’s back for the Boston College game.

Duke: 94
Brown: 61

Let’s go Duke!!

Hope this is just precautionary and nothing serious with Tre.

With that said we know how many minutes Tre will play once he’s back. There won’t be another lull in our schedule like this for the rest of the year. With the long grueling conference schedule ahead this could easily just be a chance for K to get Tre back to 100% without any doubt.

I'm on the west coast for a bit and it seems so weird to have an 8:30am game.

Just win by enough the board is satisfied:), and avoid injuries. Go Duke!!!

Man Goldwire has looked good to start this game. Pushing when he should, rebounding, defense of course. Great start for him.
