Do you agree with these polls?

I really like Tony Bennett. Always comes off as very genuine.

Also, Boeheim eclipses Calipari on the asshole scale. Cal is just at a more hated school.

Bill Self is in the wrong column....he's a cheat, but good coach...Howard is way too low...should be tied at #1 with Calipari in my view. Tony Bennett should be top 5 likeable...and mark few is in the wrong column as well....

I can't stand the majority of the people on either list. But I am a grumpy bastard.
bleed me too, except I am an OLD and "grumpy b@$t@rd." I do think Mike Brey should be higher on the likeable side.Brey seems like the kind of guy it would fun to sit down and talk hoops over a beer.

Naturally Hubert would be on my most "unlikeable." I would have him there simply for not stopping the lewd chant at Coach K last year at the Nose Dome.

Tony is #1 … mannn I wanted him to be our next coach. Bruce pearl??…. I don’t even like his face. Vince McMahon #1 on the non likable side is 100% correct.

I got something fun. Where would YOU honestly put K, 1-25.?

I thought about that Ipster. I am really not certain. Hmmmm.

Who voted on this poll? Coaches or fans? The fans really don't know how the coaches are behind the scenes.

For example, for a long time I thought Huggins seemed like a Bully and dirty coach until I started appreciating how well schooled his players were and how hard they played. But he always has that puss on his face. Who knows how he is in real life. we are all different people in the heat of a basketball game.

Huggins is a man of the people of West Virginia. I lived in Pittsburgh for some time (hour from WVU campus) and it was common to see Huggins out at the bars with regular people, he was often at the horse track gambling.

People love him there, he’s probably going to retire very soon though.

I looked back over the list, and I saw 13 I like out of 50. I agree with Brey!

That’s the thing him and pearl remind me of regular guys that coulda been on my moms side of the family.. slightly overweight, older bull crapers that would keep you rolling with laughter but we’re tough as nails at the same time.

The where would K be is a good one. I liked him, he was obviously a great coach, but I cringed at some of the things he would say sometimes. Like The Oregon player he talked to after the game. I would not take kindly to that as a coach. The TV commercials during March Madness seemed a little unnecessary. He could definitely come off as condescending and uptight. But I would definitely respect him if he was coaching another team.

That Oregon player (Dillon Brooks) is a jackass. No sympathy for him.

True, but you would normally talk to the coach about it.
Agree. That's where fans need to take their goggles off. That wasn't one of K's finer moments. Not any difference than years ago when Dean got upset with the Clemson player for what he thought was a hard foul, and pointed his finger at him, or something like that. Rick Barnes came unglued. And rightfully so.

I try to be objective about things. If Grayson played down the road no one would be defending him. (That said it did get blown up to ridiculous levels). But he did do it several times. The Oregon thing just made Coach K look like a sore loser. It's easy to be a good sport when you win. And it made it worse because it was all people were talking about the next day.

While I agree for the most part. Dillon Brooks is on another level of annoying/dirty. He literally got kicked out of an NBA game last night for a dirty Flagrant 2. Last year in the playoffs, he knocked out Gary Payton II for the whole playoffs for a cheap shot while Payton II was in the air.

1 seeded Oregon beat an average Duke team in the Sweet16 and Brooks was talking crap and celebrating like they had just won the title. Had a Duke player acted like that, K would have come down hard on him. Don’t think it was K’s business to talk to Brooks, but if anyone deserved a K speech, it was him.

K would have come down on the Duke player. Not the other coach.
