It suddenly hit me today. This team has got to win 2 games and they are National Champions. I know Kentucky is undefeated, tall, athletic, fast and looking incredible. I'm sure if we played them ten times we may win only two. But if we get by MSU , which game will be played on that Monday night? Could it be one of the two? I know Izzo has his team fired up, but I can't help but be confident now that we are playing D as well as we are O. Coach K has written some amazing stories in the world of basketball, could this be the Grand Finale? Taking a team of only 8 players , 50% of them being freshmen, through the Final Four only to face an unbeaten Kentucky team who everybody in the nation thought nobody could beat. If I had to face a team like that, I'm wanting Coach K leading the way. I'll admit, when ND came up just short vs UK , I though to myself there goes a chance at us winning it all. Today, after pondering all the scenarios, I'm not so sure. We made the Final Four and that's fantastic, but I think there's more to come. I'm excited. Big time . GO DUKE !!!!!

I sort of like UK this year to that UNLV team of 1992, but we are not so much the underdogs.

I know other posters have said it before, but this team is just special. They win pretty, they win ugly, they win close, they win however they need to and that's a big deal.

I'm looking forward to Saturday, and hopefully Monday.

Who knows, but I'm not doubting this team anymore. The way they came through against Utah was all I needed to see. The won two hard fought games this weekend without nearly any offense from Okafor, Cook, and Allen. Who thought that could happen?

We are the Spurs:

Duncan (Jah)
Parker (Stones)
Leonard (Justise)
Ginobli (Grayson)
Danny Green (Matt Jones)
Patty Mills (Captain Cook)
Tiago Splitter (Plumlee)
Boris Diaw (Amile)

Cook is kind of our Ginobli, but you know what I'm getting at.

Did UNLV make the tournament in '92?

We beat half of the elite and and 2 FF teams this year. We had a brutal schedule, I mean a BRUTAL schedule and we only lost 4 games. And I feel in those four games we learned something every time. As stated we are the most battle tested team in the country, we are are tough as nails mentally and physically and have the best coach on the planet. I have seen cracks in the Kentucky armor all year. SEC competition is sad. Look how the ACC represented in this years tournament.A dominant team isn't down half time to Buffalo at Rupp Arena. All due respect and credit to UK but there is no way they go undefeated against ACC caliber competition for an entire season. I think if we played them 10 times RIGHT NOW we split 50/50. I'm sorry but I just don't see these world beaters. They've had close calls to bad teams all year.To me we are just as good or better and I think we win the whole damn thing. That's just a Honkeys thoughts.

I've got Honkey on my mind! I'm a believer brother! We have to get by the Spartans first, and that is no given, but if we do, I like our chances against Kentucky (if they get by Wisconsin). The Cats would have to bring their A game...no C+ crap will do it, like many people think.

I remeber the superbowl in 2007. I'm a huge Giants fan and remember thinking the undefeated Patriots were going to beat them by 3 or more touchdowns but the Giants stepped up and won the superbowl. If it comes down to Duke and Kentucky, I'm going to keep hope alive. This is sports and anything is possible. Win for Quinn baby!

No longer fear matching up with Kentucky. Against the Irish, they managed how many baskets outside 3 feet in the 2nd Half?

The way UK played on Saturday, we will be getting ready for Wisconsin.

Wisconsin has a very, very good chance of beating UK on Saturday.

As for Duke - focus on MSU! They will bring their A-game for sure.
