Good GOD what a satisfying stooge-fest that thread turned out to be. Let's see, Duke will have a HORRIBLE defense this season. Carey is a joke and "Did us a great favor not coming to UNC." Stanley and Moore will make zero impact. Mr. 75 also releases that if K can keep this team over .500 in the conference this season it will be one of the greatest coaching feats ever.

When you compare this Duke team to four of their past five predecessors based on NBA talent alone, then one could argue that with the exception of 2016, this is probably the least talented team of the group. I'm not sure whether that's what he's basing it off or not.

Are we going to struggle at points this season? I think one can make a fair argument we might....but it was hard for me to envision us being 'just' a .500 team before the season began. Knowing what I know now after watching six games, I just don't know how you can find seven or eight teams to finish ahead of us. But that's just me....I've certainly been wrong many times before.

And 'irby', needs to get away from THR enough to do a little research on his declaration of Duke being 'Champs=Nov/Dec, Chumps=March/April. I'm waiting for him to let me know who's had more success than K & Duke in March and April since the John Wooden days.
