Cole Anthony out with injury

Personally, I hate to see it for any kid no matter who they play for.
According to a buddy of mine, they have several players out right now with injury. I haven’t researched to se who or how many.

I also remember several of them who also stated injuries couldn’t be used as an excuse for loses because K should have developed his bench. Welp...

I hate to see this also, but I would hate it even more if Cole injured himself again during the course of the season. He really needs to just shut it down for this season and prepare for the 2020 draft.

That's tough. I want them at full strength. bacott was said to be out for several games. Maybe anthony and black can get the same medical treatment and play today. We know all well about injuries though don't we. I don'the remember heel fans feeling sorry for us during all the injuries we have dealt with the last frw years. I would love to see us have an injury free year. The heels still should win vs.wofford. It also gives other tar heel players a chance to step up. Yeap, karma is a bitch and she finally decided to wear powder blue uniforms this year. I don’t wish ill will on any of the UNC players, but for years UNC fans have gotten a laugh at not only the fact that one of our really good players was injured but also that we deserved it for taking so many OAD players. UNC finally started trying to recruit with the big boys and the guy who scores 1/3 of their points, and is a OAD, is likely out for a while.

Manley is also out for the season and Anthony’s back up at PG and starting SG is out indefinitely (Leaky Black).

Wofford, an Elite 8 team at minimum, only has losses to William and Mary, USF, Butler and Missouri. No shame in losing to Wofford, Gonzaga looking to be the next victim of the Heels.

Honestly i was excited to see him play. No matter where he is, he was gonna be an exciting player to watch. He’s really all they have so it didn’t concern me much. But college basketball is better with guys like him and Wiseman on the court.

Bill and Mary always have a good team. The heels have a transfer from that school.

Without Anthony, Manley, and Black for several weeks, they will have to go on a run at the end of the regular season or during the ACC tournament to make it to the NCAAs. Otherwise, they have enough talent to go slightly worse than .500 the remainder of the season and make the NIT.

Agree. Anthony isn’t Zion and that UNC team doesn’t have enough talent to make a legit run at the ACC or NCAA title with or without Anthony. If he’s not 100% by early February, he won’t play another game as a Tarheel. He will sit at 100% healthy the last two months of the season and watch his teammates get whipped and probably not bother traveling to away games.

I’m betting he is regretting his college choice about now.
