Personally, I'm not sweating recruiting at all. I'll do that once K has retired. At any rate, I think K racks up in 16 and as far as the coming season goes, after a National Championship, I'll take whatever comes this way and smile. I'm really proud of Coach. He's done it just about every way you can do it. With mature senior laden teams, with mixed teams and now with a team so young almost nobody gave them a chance. I kept waiting in the tourney for the freshmen to look up like deer in the headlights but it never came. They played like men and never looked back. Also so very happy Grayson got to leave his mark on the whole thing. His million dollar smile was priceless up on that podium. You always thought that K would struggle to land #5 and poof, now all of a sudden , you start thinking "damn, this man is going to build another monster in 16 and try to pull it off again !" I believe a lot of the 2016 recruits are thinking that very same thing. Kentucky slipping when it meant the most and Duke answering the bell once again is really going to help the cause. I guess the icing on top is the UNC fans in my area code who have fallen almost eerily silent. THE 2015 NATIONAL CHAMPION DUKE BLUE DEVILS. Holy hell that sounds awesome.

Never worried. I think we can win it every year. OFC

I don't think many are worried....but this is how life works, unfortunately. It's no different in our jobs. When we have big wins we relish in them but know that now it's time to make another one happen.

So no, I'm not worried about Duke basketball because I don't have any control. But that doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to the 2015-16 season and seeing how our roster might shake out. In 25+ years of being Duke fan I know I've never seen this kind of turnover or unanswered questions just two weeks after the season ends. So I think people are just being fans.

That said, we do get a little bit of a pass, or should I say a good feeling, considering we just won the national championship. I think things would be much more depressing if the kids hadn't finished the job AND we were facing all of this uncertainty.

Showenuff you said the UNC fans have become eerily silent. Didn't they make a movie about them "The Silence of the Lambs"

I'm not so worried about next season as I know we lost 4 starters that and thus we are in a rebuilding year and must be a little more realistic about our goals next season but I am anxious to see what additional recruits we get so we can surprise people.

Worried? About what? Duke is the 2015 National Champion, it just couldn't get any better than that!!
As far as recruiting and what will happen next season, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. We have a nice bunch of kids coming back and a couple of really good kids coming in, so if we can come up with a PG for next season, we will be very competitive, especially as the season wears on.
Expectations may change, but Duke is still an elite program and we still have Coach K, so I feel pretty good about saying it's gonna be ok!!
Go Duke!!
