Alarie's Daughter goes #5 in WNBA Draft...

Congratulations to Mark Alarie and his family as, daughter, Bella, was the fifth overall pick (Dallas Wings)in tonight's WNBA Draft.

A three-time Ivy League Player of the Year selection as a forward for the Princeton Tigers, Bella averaged 16.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game during her collegiate career.
 
The Liberty grabbed current Blue Devil forward, Leaonna Odom, in the 2nd round with the #15 overall pick.

Starting 99 of 125 games during her four-year career in Durham, Odom averaged 11.1 points, 5.8 rebounds.

Her best season came in 2019-2020, where she was named to the All-ACC 2nd Team, compiling a stat line of 14.3 ppg and 6.2 rpg.

Equally important, she was named to the conference All-Academic team twice in her career.
 
Haley Gorecki closed out the night for Duke, going 31st overall (3rd round) to the Seattle Storm...

A two-time team captain, Gorecki was twice named All-ACC (2nd team in 2019, 1st team in 2020), as well as was a 2020 3rd Team All-American selection...

Blossoming during the back end of her career, she went from averaging 4.5 points per game as a freshman, to 17.2 as a junior and then 18.5 in her fifth and final season at Duke.

Her collegiate career stat line reads as follows: 14.3 points per game, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.4 helpers.
