Today we welcome the 1-0 cadets from West Point into Cameron. Guided by second year head coach Kevin Kuwik, army returns their two leading scorers from last years 10-22 team. Duke enters as a 29.5 point favorite.

I think this will be a good second tune up before we get Kentucky next week

Duke-102
Army-54

Anyone think K shows up for this one?

One of the few things that we can look for tonight, other than the last chance for Hubbard, Begovich and Borden to play for a while, is whether Army can slow down the pace or if Duke can speed them up. I'd also like to see Duke play great defense for the entire shot clock, and not give up easy shots or fouls at the end of the shot clock.

It would be nice to see Cooper have a big game also, just to show he can.

Not hitting threes so far . Proctor is O-2, Flag is 0-1, Kon 0-1, Foster 0-1 and Mal 0-1

Can’t get into the lane . They are playing a pack line defense and a triangle and two thrown in there. I think they are letting us shoot the three until we can hit consecutive shots.
Brown and Mal have failed on a dunk . Mals went off the rim and Browns was blocked by a guard .
Proctor isn’t the only one clanking shots .

Finally started to hit our three's. We'll see if we can continue in the second half.

20 point win if we don't. 30 point win if we do

That last Dunk by Mal was great . Really liking the defense.
Cooper is a warrior doing everything and that dunk attempt by Sion would have been nasty

Duke has been very sloppy this game, that won’t work against Kentucky next week. Obviously Duke will win big tonight against Army but definitely stuff they need to work on and clean up.

would like to see us run the offensive sets etc that we will use against better teams. We can win these games on talent disparity alone so getting more out of them by practicing our sets in game situations would be better in the long run
