    I would be happy with the mid - range shot and his post ups... Young does not jump to high so it may not be a jump shot. Just a thought, not a rip.

    The coaching staff knows the team is stacked at the guard position. Due to that reality, there are moments Flip 'may' play the 5. However, everyone knows he's not comfortable at the 5.

    Young is a fan favorite, so he will initially get PT in the beginning. It will come down to chemistry, need and healthy. Having 10 capable players is a Great Problem.

    Perimeter Defense is a conversation we have not talked about enough. I believe with Roach, Proctor and Flip coming back that is 50 points on any given night. What needs to be address is making sure the other team don't give us 50 plus points, particularly on the perimeter.

    Ooooweee Bmbritt... you are a tough sell. It's absolutely a Chi - Town connection. It's all about recruiting. There are moments you need a different voice when you walk into that dining room or kitchen or gym. Hopefully, this will be a good hire.

    I can see that. Here's another thought, rebounding. If our shot isn't falling, do you want Flip to be the primary rebounder? His double - doubles last season was based on less pressure to perform with Lively and Young sharing minutes at the 5.

    I once believed that, but with the NIL and extra COVID year, that may not be a reality. There are more big 6'9 to 7ft centers playing College Basketball then we may think.     It's difficult for me to trust Flip's post defense. I get starting McCain for shooting purposes and possibly what was promised. I just do not want Flip in early foul trouble.
