I think it’s virtually certain we double Burns, but my concern is whether (a) we’ll see Flip and Ryan get in foul trouble, and (b) Horne’s defender leaves him open for an easy kick-out pass and 3-point shot. Should be a good game, though.
If I'm not mistaken, Burns doesn't play huge minutes. It might be a conditioning issue. If Flip can really run the floor and we get some quick baskets, Keatts may have to keep Burns on the bench.
He was playing around 24-25 minutes/game for about 3 weeks before last week, when he played 17 and 12. One of those games, he was in foul trouble.
It absolutely is a conditioning issue, so it's a good point. If Burns gets going they'll ride him for a while in a "must-win" game, though.
